Every time I feel tired, miserable or sad I just watch this video. It has an instant lift me up effect, an amazing song with beautiful lyrics…and Aaron Johnson (who is my imaginary boyfriend if you have to know:)).
I sometimes just stop on the street or on the subway, take out my iPod and just listen and watch and I start smiling, the sun seems just a little bit brighter, the people kinder, the small annoying things unimportant. Music always makes me get through the day!

WOW I hadn't heard this before! REM is up there with pick me up songs - Nightswimming is an oldy but a goody. I also like Katie Noonan - always have - I think you would too - YouTube her and let me know what you think!

I never heard of this song before even though I grew up in the era when R.E.M. was at their peak. I am such a music junkie, and call me melodramatic, but there is always a song for every turning point in my life, and even for just random times in my life that when I hear that song, it takes me straight back to that moment in my life. hahaha

Music has so strong influence to us! Usually when I'm feeling a bit sad, I listen Sum 41-With Me or Eminem feat Rihanna-Love The Way You Lie :) I see those as a sad songs but they're so beautiful and they make me feel better!
