Outfit – roses and fur

This dress is the latest addition to my dirndl style frock collection and I might have just worn it one too many times over the past month. It’s what I do: when I like something I tend to wear that thing for weeks much to my sister’s chagrin.

But even she has too admit the dress it’s super cute with its bright red and green rose print and flattering silhouette – it just makes me feel good and comfortable.

The brown leather jacket with the fur collar is something I actually bought in high school and one of the few things I stand by even today. Can’t help but think about the fact I was probably 17 years old when I got it – pretty fancy of me, right? I was very much into Russian literature back then so that might had something to do with it!

And then we have the burgundy coat which is of more recent decent – you might remember the first time I made the introductions!

I’m having an interesting time lately to say the least, new plans and projects are being put into motion, not going to say anything yet but hopefully I can tell you more soon.

  I’m wearing:
dress, bag / rochie, geanta - vintage
burgundy coat / palton visiniu - New Look
fur jacket / jacheta guler blana - random brand
crystal earrings / cercei  - Asos
ring, bracelet / inel, bratara  - random brand
ankle boots / ghete - random brand

Purple haze sunset

You know how they say a sailor has a girlfriend in every port? Well it’s the same with me, except I have a photographer everywhere I go. Usually they are my poor, unsuspecting friends, but nobody is really safe.:)))) My outfit pictures are taken by different people, the only common thing is my camera and well…me!

These photos are the handy work of my friend - Miki - who came to Bucharest for a quick visit from Cluj and I thought the least I could do was to make her day and ask her to immortalize my outfit. She was happy to oblige!:))))

I’ve just realized I wore this gladiator style sandals a lot this summer, they are comfortable and go with everything – pretty much the best 10$ I have ever spent.

The purple dress is another dirndl number from my growing collection, you’ve seen another one here. In the accessories area I went for an animal kingdom theme with a pair of owl earrings and big elephant ring. I’m pretty much obsessed with animal or animal inspired anything.

I’m wearing:
dress – vintage
 sandals – H&M
bracelets, ring, earrings – random brand
sunglasses  – Asos
cardigan – Kenvelo

Whoopsie Daisies!

Romanian thrift stores and second hand shops are not as good as the ones abroad but one thing you can be sure you’ll find is a cute Tyrolese dress (or an interpretation of an ethnic German dress).

I know many people consider them outdated or not trendy enough but I DO collect them and I’m super happy when I find one that has an amazing color, fit or embroidery (or all of the above). I think wearing such a dress with a modern pair of shoes and lots of wacky jewelry will make you look fresh, adorable and original in a city where many of the people only feel comfortable dressing from the big high street chains (from head to toe).

I wore this dotted blue one when I went with Anna to see X-Men: First Class, she’s definitely great company and has the same “movie habits” as me so we spent over two hours being pervs for James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender (many dirty jokes regarding his surname come in mind but I will refrain from sharing for the sake of my reputation:)))), giggling and having fun. I do love my sister but she hates to talk/discuss a movie while watching it (and always begs me to shut the f*** up) so Anna is just my type of girl, she loves commenting while watching, just like me.

The long feathers and silver chains earrings are handmade by me (check out my Etsy Store or my site if interested in my work.) And yes, I’m a fan of huge rings (well, rings in general:))))

On another note: Do you like the changes on the blog?! Yesterday was Sara’s birthday so Denisa made us both the awesome gift of face lifting the blog! We love it!

Anna makes the best puppy eyes ever – you just can’t say no to this adorable face!!!:)
