Event: LaChatterie Gold Label Launch

Last Thursday evening was both busy and pleasant as I attended two very nice events. Today I’m telling you a bit about the first: the launch of the LaChatterie’s Gold Label at their showroom (19, Bibescu Vodă st.). The line’s first collection „Blue Angels, Red Lights" it’s a beautiful mix of romantic and edgy elements with details that are very in right now: collar tips, studs, asymmetric lengths, faux fur and leather insertion.

The outfit I’m wearing at the event including the jewelry is head to toe New Look as part of my ongoing collaboration with the English brand. I‘m going to show you the beautiful New Look coat I was wearing over tomorrow when I’ll talk about the second event I went to.

I always ask my sister how do I look before going out and she always has a funny (most of the times) or helpful (rarely) comment. This time she said and I quote: “Holly Guacamole! This dress really makes you b***s pop! Did you have some work done?” which was super hilarious as we live together (most of the time). Other than the dress I just love the silver cardigan, so slouchy and light weight and the over-sized purple clutch.

10 easy DIY ideas for mini Christmas trees

Guys, I found some great ideas for miniature Christmas trees that you can make yourself using ordinary supplies that you probably already have laying around the house. The only thing you need is a little bit of free time and patience. They will make for some great Holiday decorations and will cheer you up for sure!

I used to make a lot of Christmas decorations when I was little, I loved it and it was something I expected all year long. I’m really hoping to get that feeling back by attempting to make some of these:

♥ The cupcake liners Christmas tree
You’ll need: a wide short glass (it would be cool to fill it with orange peel), white cupcake liners, silver glitter, a small decoration for the top.

A colorful, glittery version (right side)! So cute!!!

♥ The green yarn Christmas tree

You’ll need: a cardboard cone, thick green yarn, little yarn colorful globes, cardboard star for the top.

♥ The feathers Christmas tree

You’ll need: a cardboard cone, white feathers (you can make it any color you wish if you have colorful feathers), glue.

♥ Colorful fabric and paper Christmas tree

You’ll need: a cardboard cone, colorful fabric and paper, ribbon, buttons, a small decoration for the top, scraps of lace, velvet and glue.

♥ The paper Christmas tree

You’ll need: a glass candle holder or a long metal stick, paper, cardboard stars

♥ The red fabric flowers Christmas tree

You’ll need: a cardboard cone, red fabric, scissors, white beads or gold beads, thread, glue, big gold star for the top.

♥ Tall serving rack Christmas three

You’ll need: a three (or more) tier serving rack OR a three tier cupcake stand, different cute objects you have around in white, red and green to decorate the rack, you can always fill the rack with colorful food.

♥ The buttons Christmas tree

You’ll need: a cardboard background (you can pin it up on the wall), lots of buttons of different colors, shapes and sizes, glue, little beads, colorful paper to cut out the small present boxes and the star on the top of the tree, thread

♥ The minimalist branches Christmas tree

You’ll need: a tall white vase, tree branches, Christmas globes (they look really elegant in white), a big green, fabric bow, thin rope to decorate the upper part of the vase.

♥ The cupcakes and candy Christmas tree

You’ll need: pretty little cupcakes and candies that you arrange in a pyramid shape, orange slices.

How to make a cardboard cone you ask? Just roll a flexible piece of rectangular carboard, cut the base evenly and glue it.

Brussels diary - part three

Here’s another small dose of Brussels through my eyes (and lenses)! Photography is such an amazing thing, helping us when beautiful memories fade away, giving them sharpness, brilliant colors and emotion.

I love wondering around a new, unknown city without any maps or clear plans, I feel like I’m about to discover something amazing at every corner. The feeling that nobody knows you there is wonderful; you can be anyone you want to be.

Another thing I love is eating chocolate! But I would never be so cruel as to destroy this sweet cocoa bear.

Forget about beer! The waffles are the best thing about Brussels: they come in a million flavors and toppings, try as many as you can! I did!

When in Brussels don’t forget the Atomium – it’s pretty spectacular!

My New Look (part one)

I’m starting to get into the holiday spirit which I don’t usually do, but, hey, there’s a start for everything. I’m just happy the worm, fuzzy and highly unfamiliar feelings are not medication induced! :)))))

Part of my good mood last week was the invitation I got from New Look to get wild in one of their stores in Bucharest. And so I did! This is a New Look + Alice = LOVE type situation. Talking about a kid in a candy store!

While wandering around I got this idea I should choose an item and create a few different outfits around it. Then I came across a super cute green dress with little white stars! That was it! I told you there’s something in the air!

That’s how this “4 ways to wear a dress” article got to be written.



♥ Lady and the tramp

When I thought I couldn’t possibly find anything cuter I got my hands on this adorable deep red, military coat. Green and red? Do you see what I’m doing here?!!!

The mustard stripper style shoes are the unexpected thing; they were shamelessly calling my name, I’m powerless to the charms of shoes and handsom boys, their calls are like siren songs to me!:)))) And how about the bag? Both charming and practical! I got a little bit overboard with the photos but it was hard to decide which ones to publish (after I almost froze my ass minds off taking them, Denisa was behind the camera).

♥ Comfortable chic

Nothing better for the winter than a beautifully knitted, long cardigan with a faux fur collar. So chic and warm. Doubles as a pet if in urgent need for affection! Also this type of cardigan makes me feel all grown up (which I am, ok?!). But don’t be fooled by my candid, smiling face. I like my shoes dirty! Don’t you just love the animal print pumps? New Look has the best shoes!
